The One Who Will Open the Door"
MAN AND WIFE AGREEMENT
On the first day of their marriage, a husband and wife made a special agreement:
"We will never open the door for anyone once we are together inside."
Later that day, there was a knock at the door.
It was the husband's parents.
The couple looked at each other. The husband felt torn—he wanted to open the door for his parents—but because of their agreement, he stayed silent.
Eventually, his parents left.
Soon after, the wife’s parents arrived and knocked.
Again, the couple looked at each other.
This time, tears welled up in the wife's eyes. She whispered,
"I can’t do this to my parents."
And she opened the door.
The husband said nothing.
Four years passed. They had four sons.
Then, their fifth child was born—a baby girl.
The husband planned a big celebration and invited the entire village.
After the party, the wife asked:
"Why did you organize such a big celebration for this child, while we didn’t do anything like this for our boys?"
The husband smiled and replied:
"Because she is the one… who will open the door when I knock."
Moral:
Sometimes, small actions hold deep meanings. Love, understanding, and empathy often show up when we least expect them.
